Audiobooks are voice recordings of the text of a book that you listen to rather than read. They are available on a traditional CD format or digitally through Libby.

Wonderbooks are preloaded audiobook players that are permanently attached to a hardcover book. A child just needs to press play in order to listen to the book while reading along. The audiobook players include a headphone jack for independent listening, and a Micro-USB charging port.

Playaway are preloaded audiobooks that are small, portable, and give the listener the freedom to take audiobooks everywhere. No Wifi or downloads needed — ever. Simply plug in a pair of earbuds and press play. They are perfect for long car rides!

DVDs are rated by the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA). With parent consent, Marion County Public Library allows minors to check out movies of their own choosing.
