Walk the creek with us at Graham Memorial, and find geodes and other cool rock specimens! Then, we'll bring them back to the library, examine the outside, and try to guess what's inside. We'll learn cool facts about Marion county geology!DRESS FOR CREEKIN': THAT MEANS WATER SHOES WITH GRIPPY SOLES, SHORTS, AND COOL CLOTHES! Bug spray and sunscreen will be provided.

Learn a game as a family. This month we will be learning Mountain Goats!

Do you love listening to audiobooks? Have you been looking for an excuse to get out more, and perhaps even exercise? We have just the thing. Join us on Mondays (4:30-6PM) and Fridays (12:30-2PM) starting May 4th at Graham Memorial Park! We will be set up in the parking lot by the Aquatic Center near the walking track. To join, simply sign in and then start your walk. Bring friends. Meet other book besties. Get those steps in. We believe in you. If you join us for enough sessions you'll even get a prize! We can't wait to see you there! MCPL will: provide headphones for those who don't have them (USBC plugs), help people get library cards, and provide some water bottles.

Join us as we pore over vintage maps and geologic surveys to learn about what lies beneath Marion County! We'll learn about the ancient history of the area, both local to Lebanon and further beyond, into deep time! Snacks and drinks provided.
