Public PCs

Marion County Public Library offers public PCs at the main branch and at our Loretto branch. The main branch has 10 PCs and Loretto has 1 PC.

When using the PC at the main branch you will need your library card or you can ask for a guest pass at the desk if you don't have a card. Anyone under 18 will have to get permission from a parent or guardian before we can print them a guest pass. Once you have your library card or guest pass you can go to one of the open pcs and enter in the card number or guest number of the pass.

We do ask that when you are finished using the PC you restart it or alert a staff member you are done with the PC so they can restart it. This is to insure that are software on the PC is able to wipe any information you may have entered before the next person use it.

All PCs have access to Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher, and Firefox. We are unable to install any other programs to our PCs in order to assure their security.
